Skin Beauty- Japanese Tofu with Bonito Shavings

Ingredients:

  • Japanese tofu

  • Dried bonito shavings

Methods:

  1. Cut chilled tofu into quarters and serve in a bowl

  2. Put grated ginger, dried bonito shavings, and chopped spring onion on top of tofu

  3. Seasoned with soy sauce

Omega-3 Benefits – Salmon Pasta

Ingredients:

  • fresh salmon

  • pasta (serving for two)

  • chopped garlic

  • cut capsicums

  • worcestershire sauce

  • garlic salt

  • Italian herbs

Methods:

  1. Fresh salmon is marinated with herbs and garlic salt before it goes into the freezer

  2. Thaw the salmon to bake

  3. Boil the pasta with some salt

  4. Fry chopped garlic, cut capsicums

  5. Stir fry pasta with fried ingredients, add 2 tbs of worcestershire sauce, a sprinkle of garlic salt & Italian herbs for a short time on low heat

Fiber Boost - Orange, Carrot and Mango Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 2 carrots (or 200ml carrot juice)

  • 4 apples (or 400ml apple juice)

  • 1cm piece of ginger (or very finely grated ginger)

  • 150ml Orange Carrot & Mango Yogurt

Methods:

  1. 1/ Juice the carrots, apples and ginger - you should get approx 600ml of juice

  2. 2/ Blend in the Yeogurt and chill for 30 mins. Stir well before serving.

  3. Add more ginger if you like a bit more of a zing.

Healthy Snacks -‘Die a Nori Day’ Seaweed Popcorn

Serves 4 | Cals: 120 | Fat: 2.6g | Ready in: 30 secs

Ingredients:

  • 3tbsp clear honey

  • Toasted nori (seaweed)

  • Pinch of salt

Drizzle the honey over the corn from a height. Sprinkle on the nori and salt, then shake it.

Cholesterol Reduction – Black Fungus with Cabbage and Fish Cake

Ingredients:

  • chopped garlic

  • one fish cake, sliced to strips

  • 1/4 to 1/2 cabbage, cut to smaller pieces

  • a handful of black fungus, soaked and washed

  • half a small bowl of chicken or pork stock

  • some salt

Methods:

  1. Fry garlic and then fish cake

  2. The cabbage and the black fungus can be thrown in for a short stir

  3. Pour the chicken into the dish and let it braised for 10 minutes, covered.

  4. Add salt to the taste
